ABOUT US
WHY "CONFLUENCE"?
A confluence is defined as a "flowing together or gathering at one point," or more specifically "the meeting of two rivers." The town of The Forks, Maine was formed at one such confluence, where the Dead and Kennebec rivers join and continue flowing through Maine until the Kennebec reaches Merrymeeting Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.

SIERRA'S STORY
Owner Sierra Leavitt has made the town of Caratunk – 8 miles south of the confluence – her home for the past ten summers working as a whitewater raft guide for Adventure Bound. Her love of the Maine outdoors and this fun-filled summer community has brought her back year after year. While working in the outdoors has allowed Sierra to explore and enjoy all that this area has to offer, running her own food-based business has been a lifelong dream, one nurtured by a passion for baking and food from her mother and grandmother.

OUR VALUES
We believe quality coffee should be a staple in any area, for locals and visitors alike! We are so excited to bring top-quality espresso-based coffee beverages and handcrafted pastries to our rural neck of the woods. We have partnered with 44 North Coffee, a women-owned business roasting organic fair-trade coffee out of Deer Isle, Maine.

In addition to a passion for providing the area with awesome specialty coffee and pastries, we have long felt the need for more variety in food choices for this region. We look forward to serving light grab and go breakfast and lunch for the community to take on their way to their day's adventure.

Our love of coffee, food, and the Forks community has brought us to this moment, where we decided a mobile trailer set-up would be the best way to start this journey, and we can't wait to see where it takes us!
